Intimate Backyard Elopement in Rochester

Traci and Alex had the absolute most romantic intimate backyard elopement in Rochester, NY. A major factor in these cuties relationship is their love for adventure. They even spent six months together hiking the entirety of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Clearly these two are super into the woodsy vibes, which was represented perfectly in their parent’s backyard where they said “I do!”

Due to COVID-19, the couple had to change their wedding plans from a big 200+ guest wedding, to a small and intimate backyard elopement in Rochester. As they started to change their plans and plan for their elopement, they quickly started to realize that small celebration feels so much more like them and their relationship. The intimacy honestly made that day that much more special, it was incredible!

First of all, let me tell you how absolutely beautiful their decorations were! Traci handmade wood flower pieces that decorated the entire backyard! They are sooo incredibly dreamy. Second of all, oh my gosh the food was to die for! Their family made to most delicious meal – and Alex’s mom mac and cheese had completely stolen my heart! They also order the most amazing cupcakes from KMC Custom Cakes which totally stole the show!!

Did you know that there is a site where you can pay different music artists to write a song just for you? Traci was able to have her all time favorite artist write a song just for their first dance! How freaking beautiful and romantic!! Watching these cuties dance to this song while singing to each other seriously made my heart melt.

As if Traci and Alex couldn’t get any cooler, can you guess why we had to take some photos with a school bus? It’s their new home! The couple will be fixing up the bus and transforming it into a little home that they can travel and adventure in!!

Traci and Alex – I will never stop hyping you up! You two are way too cool for me, but I am seriously so thankful that you chose me to document your beautiful day! It is seriously the greatest honor, and I had the absolute best time goofing off with you, crying over the special moments with you, and eating the amazing food with you and your beautiful family! I cannot thank you enough for everything <3
