Camille + James’ Lake Erie engagement photoshoot during gold hour was absolutely breath taking. Both of these cuties grew up right on the shores of both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, so finding a spot to capture their engagement session on the lake was sooo important and sentimental!
As soon as Camille ask me if I knew of any hidden gems on the lake, this beautiful spot came to mind! We met up at Point Gratiot Park in Dunkirk, NY during the most beautiful sunset. I was so excited to meet here because it is one of my favorite spots to shoot at! I love how it has so many different areas to get a diverse range of photos!
After a long ride, we started our session off in the more grassy area to let their adorable pups get some energy out! Side note – bringing your furry child to your session is ALWAYS a yes from me <3 Also, can we just talk about how freaking perfect these little family photos are? TOO STINKING ADORABLE!
After a few family photos and walking the pups around for a while, we started to head back towards the beach. We found this beautiful little nook over looking to beach and the sunset. It was absolute perfection. After a little quick change, we headed to the beach for prime sunset photos, and oh my goodness they did not disappoint! I will never get over how dreamy this Lake Erie engagement photoshoot was.
Camille + James during college at Notre Dame. They were introduced by mutual friends and they hit it off and fell in love almost instantly. The two got engaged back in September when James proposed when they were hiking up to a waterfall – how stinking romantic!! These cuties planned their wedding while long distance, re-planned their wedding thanks to the virus, and are so excited to finally say “I do” in just a few short weeks!
Camille and James, thank you so much for meeting up with me with your pups are exploring this beautiful spot! I had so much fun getting to capture these sweet and intimate moments of your little family. I cannot stinking wait for the wedding!
xoxo,
Em
