Victor NY Couples Session
Sam & Cody are madly in love and reached out to me for a Victor NY couples session that they were gifting to each other for valentines day, so sweet! These two initially met in college, went their separate ways, and reconnected when Sam began working with Cody’s sister who strongly advised Sam to reach out to him! Sam adorably admitted she had a crush on him in college, and was excited to have a chance to get to know him years later. They began their relationship in the midst of the pandemic beginning, so it was months of facetime dinners and long late night convos. After months of long distance and safe measures, they met in person and instantly knew they were each other’s soulmates. The rest is history as they now live together with their fur babies, and are happily in love!
These two lovebirds moved in together in Victor NY, and their apartment had the perfect park behind it for our session. Victor Lehigh Crossing park had so many nice areas to dance around and have some fun, without there being much foot traffic! Sam and Cody had mentioned wanting to be able to look back on these photos and remember their first apartment, and the fact that they found love amidst all the chaos in the world! It was very refreshing to have a couple want to do a photoshoot just for fun and memories, there doesn’t always have to be a huge milestone attached!
Having creative freedom is often hoped for going into a photoshoot, but this Victor NY couples session encouraged me to tap into that creativity ten fold. Sam had mentioned that she appreciated some of the timeless looking blurry photos I had on my feed and I was so honored! We had the opportunity to do some slow motion blur shots, and my heart could barely stand the outcome!! Those were some of her favorite photos, and mine too. When hiring a photographer, it is important to look for more than just their style and editing. Tap into their personality, creativity, and energy!
