Lexi and Mack are not only madly in love, they are the sweetest dog parents around, and it was so apparent during their Rochester In-Home Engagement Shoot! When preparing for our session, they told me they had purchased their home right before the shut down, and it was their little sanctuary and safe space. These two are naturals in front of the camera and had no problem snuggling up on the couch.. I mean look how cute they are together! When I was giving them instructions on doing airplane, Lexi told me that they actually have fun with this on their own quite often. I melted, how fun and playful!

Rochester is a cozy little city tucked in upstate New York. What’s even better, you ask? We get all four seasons, with wild foliage and hot summers. Lexi and Mack took me behind their home where they have a few trails, so we did a little adventuring! A little bit muddy, but that made it all the more fun! Such a perfect addition to their in-home engagement session. When photographing a couple I love to capture what feels natural and realistic, so the memories and photos are authentic to the couple. Sipping on wine in the kitchen, making a fire in the backyard, and cozying up on the couch? Count me in! This Rochester In-Home Engagement Shoot was one for the books.

I think above all else, making sure my couples feel comfortable and welcome is top of the list. Whatever your vision is, we will make it personal and fun no matter what. A lot of times clients get caught up in what they think they are expected to do, or what they think is typical for a specific shoot. Not the case with me! Taking the time to listen to your wishes, get curious about your vision, and stand true to your relationship is what I strive for. It all starts with love, trust, and a conversation!
