This Green Lakes State Park Engagement shoot absolutely melted my heart! Michelle and Horacio are so laid back and kind. They shared with me that they got set up on a date, her aunt is friends with his big sis, and ever since have been inseparable! They decided to elope just the two of them six months ago, and then have photos done for save the dates for their big wedding coming up in December, in California! We chatted about things such as early marriage stories, being dog parents, and had such a blast just laughing and enjoying each other’s company!

Green Lakes State Park is nestled right outside of Syracuse, New York. It is the most quaint place for an engagement session. Big bold trees, a long and peaceful beach, and even some fun places to get ice cream and walk the pup! There were many cozy areas for us to pause and pose for a bit, without bystanders hanging out in the background. This Green Lakes State Park engagement session made me want to come back and shoot here more, being that it is central to so many folks in the area! To top it off, the sunset was unreal!

The cute pup you see in the photos is Indiana, their dog that they love with all their heart! Originally, they had hired a dog sitter so they did not have anything to worry about come the day of the shoot. Well, plans changed and we rolled with it! Indiana tagged along and made the shoot that much more personal. No matter the situation, we will have fun and get all the shots you want to feel comfortable and excited about your experience. If there are small factors that seem to be stressful or overwhelming, you can count on me to be relaxed and flexible as we work together on everything!
