Not only did these two high school sweethearts do their engagement shoot with me, but now their Geneseo NY Maternity Session! How lucky am I to be photographing their growing little family!? Cara and Kevin met in their late teens and have been inseparable ever since. During their wedding planning process, they found out they were expecting a precious baby girl! I was over the moon excited to share these memories they will cherish for a lifetime. Is there anything cuter than a baby bump? I think not.

Geneseo, New York is a cozy little town that has endless rolling hills, country roads, and many quaint places to settle in for a photoshoot. Knowing that Cara was expecting, I wanted to keep things intimate and easy to access. We fell in love with the tall grassy fields right away and knew that it would be the perfect place to kick off their shoes, and even cuddle up on the ground with a blanket. They had such a great time frolicking around and giggling together. The dirt road was so sweet to take over, and made them feel like they were the only three people in the entire town! Baby girl was with us that night as the sunset and the sky had the most gorgeous soft pink glow!

These soon to be parents were so relaxed and stress free, just what I wanted! With so many unexpected roads and feats during pregnancy, capturing a growing baby bump should be enjoyable and fun. Cara was glowing the entire time, and was so relieved that she felt comfortable in front of the camera, even when her feet started to hurt a bit! This Geneseo NY maternity session was by far one of my favorites this year, so excited for their baby girl’s arrival! Planning accordingly, and going with the flow are both needed in preparation for a shoot in my opinion. I absolutely love learning my couples story to be able to tell it the best that I can through your photos!
