Abby and Mike’s Pomona at Blue Barn wedding at Blue Barn Cidery in Hilton, New York was an absolute dream! Abby and I met during my freshman year of college when I joined the sorority that she was in! Abby welcomed me with open arms and is always such a positive ray of sunshine. This wedding will always hold such a special place in my heart, it meant the world to me when Abby and Mike asked me to photograph their wedding day for them!

Abby and Mike met on St. Patrick’s Day at an Iris Pub, which they now go to all the time for dinner! It’s close to their home and now their spot together. We even met up there to grab some dinner together before their engagement session last summer. After Mike proposed to Abby, he also surprised her with a celebration party at their bar! The love that they share is so sweet and supportive.

My favorite part about Abby and Mike’s wedding day was all of the personalized touches that they included. Also – just wait until you see her colors and flowers! Everything was so bright and colorful, just like Abby’s beautiful personality. Their wedding day was a super hot August day. Since they had their wedding at a cidery, they provided their guests with an iced cold cider to grab and sip on during their ceremony. I thought this little detail was so cute! I think that some of my favorite photos from this day are from the little moment before the ceremony that Abby had with her grandparents. I could see the excitement and emotion that they were all feeling together. I even became emotional behind my camera!

I absolutely loved getting to be apart of this beautiful Pomona at Blue Barn wedding. Abby and Mike are the sweetest couple, and I feel so honored that I was able to document their day for them. I adore this venue and I would freaking love to shoot here again. This was my second time photographing at Pomona, and I know it won’t be the last!
