One of my all time favorite weddings that I had the honor of photographing, Daelyn and Matt’s Kettle Ridge Farms Wedding was absolute perfection. Their vision for the day was a modern boho-chic style with natural warm tones, and I thought everything from the small wedding details to the suits & dresses worn complimented each other so well. I am a real sucker for some natural warm tones at a wedding! The venue was absolutely amazing. Kettle Ridge Farms is placed on 70 beautiful, rugged acres and nestled in the town of Victor, NY just a short drive from Rochester, NY and in the heart of beautiful Upstate New York. The landscape was breathtaking; from the rolling hills, high ridges, wooded areas, and the kettle-hole ponds, this location was a dream. I also loved that the location was only a few minutes from Daelyn + Matt’s home, it made it that much more special. The venue was decorated in pampas grass, and it being a mid-October fall wedding, the leaves were absolutely gorgeous during this time. I felt that everything about the venue and location, brought to life their wedding day vision.

Daelyn and Matt were made for each other. They complimented each other so well; It was so apparent through their body language, how they spoke to one another, and just their overall energy towards each other. They fell in love over their interests in traveling, their fur babies, and their love for home cooking and being complete foodies. They treated their wedding day as just that, their day. They included some of the more popular wedding traditions in their celebration while also mixing in a few of their own unique wants, and I loved that so much. It just made the day more special and meaningful. I absolutely adored that they included their two fur babies (Cooper & Moose) in their special day as well. I am a huge dog lover myself, so it was really amazing to see others who cherished their fur babies as much as I do my own. They made sure to include them both in all of the big moments, and it just melted my heart. We began the day by having both Daelyn and Matt get ready at their home. Daelyn got ready with her closest friends, family, and her fur babes. Some of my favorite moments that I captured were the pre-wedding photos getting ready with the pups. They were absolute stars! After hair + makeup the ladies set out for some group photos outside with the morning sun. Everybody was glowing. We headed back inside to get all of the finishing touches done. Daelyn looked stunning in her Rita Vinieris wedding dress. Once the ladies were finished, I snuck in to get some pre-wedding, getting ready photos of the groom. Matt’s suit was a custom designed Adrian Jules and I thought the deep toned navy blue looked incredible with the bridesmaids rust colored dresses and all of the warm tones from the wedding decor and details. Once both groups were ready, we were off to the wedding ceremony! The ceremony was perfectly set up. A backdrop of the most gorgeous trees and fall colors, the florals done by Daelyn herself were amazing, the aisle leading to the beautifully designed altar was lined with boho rugs- I thought this was such a fun and unique idea! Overall, it was one of the most beautifully done ceremony setups I’ve seen. Cooper (who sat perfectly still on the cutest chair) and Moose were there next to the soon to be newlyweds as they shared each other’s vows and had their first kiss as husband and wife. Moose quickly stole the show after he jumped up to mom to make sure he got a kiss too. My heart. Daelyn + Matt exited and shared their last kiss of the ceremony under some confetti- woohoo! We’re married! We gathered everyone for some golden hour group photos and photos with the pups before I was able to steal the two newlyweds for some sunset photos in one of their favorite spots. Daelyn + Matt brought me to the spot where they regularly come to watch the sunset. It just so happened to be the place where Matt took Daelyn for their first date. I just loved how they wanted to include some of their most cherished memories into their wedding day. We were able to shoot some of the most stunning golden hour, sunset photos that absolutely melted my heart. Everyone met at Rochester, NY’s Jack Rabbit Club located downtown. The newlyweds made such an entrance when they showed up to the reception riding in on a vespa!! There was live music from Silver Arrow Band, a station for guests to take polaroid pictures, and the coolest backdrop for photos that had a light up sign with the couple’s last name – such fun vibes! Daelyn + Matt being die hard foodies had an array of treats for guests and some really amazing cocktails. Everyone spent the night dancing, singing, and just having the best time celebrating the bride & groom. We ended the day by sending them both off with sparklers. Daeyln exited wearing one of the coolest fringe jean jackets that read Rizzieri on the back. What a perfect touch! The Kettle Ridge Farms Wedding was beyond perfect.

The Kettle Ridge Farms Wedding will forever be one of my most cherished weddings that I had the chance to shoot. The whole day went as planned and it was just such a great experience for everyone there. I was really able to see everything come together from start to finish. Daelyn + Matt had such a specific vision that they wanted for their wedding, and how they wanted the day to be portrayed through photos, and I was really proud that I was able to create exactly what they wanted + more. It gave me such a great feeling of accomplishment and so much gratitude for my work and my ability to really listen and hear my couples. This is such a special day for all couples and I love that I am able to create something that resembles exactly how they had envisioned their day being like.
