Sabrina + Zack’s Elopement
Sabrina and Zack’s Hilton Head Island small wedding was absolutely breathtaking. These cuties eloped on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort and Spa. Sabrina and Zack have been together for nine years, how incredible is that! They met online, and then officially in person at a bar when Sabrina surprised Zack. Sabrina told me that Zack is always surprising her with thoughtful tokens, and she hasn’t been able to surprise him since! They describes their relationship to me as the feeling of home, which I found so important and powerful. When envisioning how I wanted to capture their wedding day, I really wanted to focus on how sweet and supportive their love and connection is.
I am truly so honored that Sabrina and Zack wanted me to travel with them to their destination wedding on Hilton Head Island. The couple stayed at a gorgeous Airbnb with their family who traveled with them to be apart of their day. It was like a little vacation for everyone! They only had 10 guests who are their absolute closest family members. After getting ready at their Airbnb, we all headed over to the resorts for their wedding ceremony! Their ceremony took place in a private area overlooking the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Sabrina’s brother made the arbor for their ceremony and she put together all of her flower arrangements with her best friends from home who weren’t able to be there on the wedding day. Every little detail was so personalized and absolutely beautiful. After officially being announced as bride and groom, we all headed over to a private room at the resorts where we shared a big family dinner together to celebrate. I was able to steal the couple after dinner for some sunset and blue hour photos which were absolutely breath taking!
I had the most amazing time getting to be apart of this Hilton Head Island small wedding. Destination weddings are truly one of my favorite events and moments to photograph.
