This Hidden Valley Animal Adventure wedding was a dream. When faced with the concept of meeting the man that had supposedly stolen the heart of my childhood best friend, to say I was skeptical would be more than accurate. But the second I saw Max and Paige interact, I knew I had nothing to worry about. These two seem to share their own language in their own endearing way that makes them just click together in a way that’s so rare to see. By the end of the first couple’s shoot I did with Paige and Max, I was pretty confident they were a perfect match. Learning that he proposed to Paige after taking her to swim with manatees only solidified that even more.
If you couldn’t have guessed from the whole manatee situation, or maybe by the fact that part of her bachelorette party was spent feeding a donkey, Paige is a massive animal lover. So what better place to get married than a facility dedicated to countless different types of animals? Hidden Valley Animal Adventure is situated in a rural area bordered by rolling fields of green. The grounds itself though are full of animals ranging from birds to fish, from cows to goats, and even the occasional bison or camel. The venue featured a quaint gazebo on a small island surrounded by lake water. Max’s grandfather married the couple here before sending the guests off to feed the animals before the reception. From the converse under Paige’s dress to the baby goats, and Max by her side, it was so clear to see that her Hidden Valley Animal Adventure Wedding was everything she imagined it would be.
Of course it never hurts to have a fantastical venue with animals roaming and duck coming up to the lodge door mid-reception to beg for some cake. But what really made this wedding unforgettable was the way Paige and Max looked at one another all night and the sincerity of their vows. Max even got her on the dance floor a handful of times, and if that doesn’t scream “love”, I don’t know what does. This Hidden Valley Animal Adventure wedding was so much fun and near and dear to my heart. It left me so excited to see what adventures my future couples will have in store.
