Geneseo Main Street Engagement Shoot

This Geneseo Main Street Engagement Shoot featured two high school sweethearts, can you even handle it!? Jess and Adam have been love struck for years, and are so excited to be celebrating this next chapter together as soon to be husband and wife! Quality time, kind words, and being silly together is important to the both of them as they grow together as a couple. They shared with me that being comfortable with one another, and knowing they each have each other’s back, allows them to flourish as individuals with love and support. How sweet! 

Since their first date was going out for ice cream, it was only fitting that during this Geneseo Main Street Engagement shoot we made a stop at the local ice cream parlor, Sunset Scoops. It was so nice spending time on the back country roads of Geneseo, New York, with no one around for miles. Not to mention, they brought their absolutely adorable dog with them who stole my heart! I loved that Jess and Adam were able to love on each other and be comfortable together without any outside distractions. Being able to snuggle up on a blanket, and spin around on a dirt road was so light hearted and fun! These two lovebirds share such a special bond, I know this will be a session I look back on and admire for years.

One thing that I as a photographer appreciate more than anything is trust. Creative trust for the session, location trust while scouting, and trust from my couples that I have their best interest at heart. Jess and Adam gave me just that, they trusted in me that their session would fulfill their desires, and offer them a place to have fun and relax together in front of the camera. As a creative person, it is so fun to get to know my couples and find out what means most to them. That way I can incorporate those details into their sessions, and make all of my clients feel heard and appreciated! Taking photos is more than a career for me, it’s my heart extending itself to others and sharing my talent in a way that can be cherished for years to come.
