It was an absolute honor getting to photograph Ellie and Kyle’s Finger Lakes Barn wedding. It was the fiesta of a lifetime in Honeoye Falls, New York outside of Rochester. This wedding was so much fun and special to me because Ellie is my big cousin! Photographing a wedding for your family, with all of your family members there as guests was super weird and freaking awesome all at the same time. Ellie and Kyle mean so much to me, and I loved getting to be apart of their day.
When I tell you how stunning this fiesta themed wedding was – I’m a little speechless. Every little detail was so thoughtful and in theme with the colorful bridesmaids dresses, Fiesta Dinnerware on all the tables, fiesta themed drinks at the bar, etc. Ellie’s sister lives in Guatemala, and was able to bring back so many beautiful handmade decorations for the wedding!
One of my favorite parts of their wedding was that Ellie had both her mom and her dad walk her down the aisle. This was the first wedding that I have been apart of where I have seen this and I thought it was so special. These two also had to include their three adorable doggies! The pups walked down the aisle, their signature drinks were named after each one of them, and they had fiesta decorations involving their furry children. Literally so cute! If you are looking for more ideas on how to include your dog in your wedding day, I highly recommend you checking out the blog post that I wrote about it HERE!
It was so special to me getting to be apart of this beautiful Finger Lakes barn wedding. I truly could not be any happier for Ellie and Kyle and I am so excited to continue cheering them in throughout their marriage journey!
