If there was ever a couple to prove that love knows no distance, it would be Crista and Rich. Over their nine years together, the two have fought a twelve hour time difference, woken up early and stayed up late just for a chance to say hello over video chat, and even waited ELEVEN months to see one another in person. But, watching these two interact during their Boston, MA Engagement Session, it was so obvious to see why they say “absence makes the heart grow fonder”. Crista and Rich poured out fun energy and love with every hour I spent with them. And not only was Rich always so sweet to Crista, he even gallantly ran back to our car to save me after I broke a shoe during the shoot!
Crista and Rich chose Webb Park for the majority of their Boston, MA Engagement Session. A location near and dear to Rich’s heart, the two were able to warm up to the camera quickly and easily made me feel like I’d known them both for years. The stunning beach along Boston waters made for the sweetest background to feature their love. Though towards the end, we were able to sneak off to a gorgeous country club, Granite Links, to shoot in front of the Boston skyline. The lights of the city and rays of the sunset memorialize the place where these two live together perfectly.
Like many of the couples I shoot, both Crista and Rich felt a bit nervous before stepping in front of the camera. But the three of us being able to sit down and chat, and Crista and Rich being able to showcase their whirlwind love story in a place so important to them made the entire shoot go by so naturally. I was honored to travel out for this Boston, MA Engagement Shoot to capture their love onto film, and I cannot wait for the opportunity to do it again!
