The Grandview of Ellington Wedding

Ashley and Javon have the quintessential friends to lovers story— from coworkers that barely spoke, to close friends and confidants, to being each other’s person. Javon fit the role of a knight in shining armor perfectly, even supplying Ashley with her own steed, an adorable puppy named Lucy! After a long night of Javon helping Ashley prep for a test, he proposed on the porch of their shared home and the two haven’t looked back since. The two chose to stay close to their roots at SUNY Fredonia and get married in Ellington, NY.

Ashley and Javon got married at the Grandview of Ellington. And let me just say, that could not have picked a more stunning place to say their vows. The venue features a beautiful gazebo overlooking the rolling hills and valley. The June sunshine and scenic background made this such a magical place for the two to share their vows. The reception was filled to the brim with personalized details that screamed “happily ever after” from the Cinderella themed card box to the couple’s Disney champagne flutes. Ashley and Javon’s families were an integral part of the night, making their big day even more special. Ashley’s maid of honor serenaded the couple for their first dance and Javon’s dad, who was also his best man, gave a beautiful speech. Lastly, Ashley’s mother pulling in her other sisters for a family dance made for such a sentimental and sweet moment. 

Even if Lucy couldn’t be there to walk her mom down the aisle, Ashley and Javon’s Ellington, NY Wedding was nothing short of perfection. The scenery was absolutely stunning, from the intricate gazebo, to the reception area, and the billowing hills of grass in the distance. But the most beautiful thing by far was how personal the entire day was to the couple and their family.
