Paradisus Los Cabos Wedding

Can you say dream wedding!? Katie and Peter tied the knot at their Paradisus Los Cabos Wedding in January and every single detail of the day was perfect. They asked me to shoot their big day at the end of their engagement session, since they had then decided they wanted something intimate and tropical. Katie was so chill while getting ready, just listening to tunes and chatting with her girls. The bridal party made me feel like family, and I am forever grateful for their warmth. I wanted to get a shot of her dress hanging in a palm tree, and her bridesmaid was actually sitting behind the dress holding it down from the wind for me, thanks girl! Peter and his guys were relaxing in the sun, sharing some brews and awaiting the ceremony. The entire morning was magical.

Katie and Peter knew they wanted to exchange vows just the two of them. Katie did a first look with her father first, and then her three loving brothers. As Peter saw his bride for the first time he just about lost it! I could barely contain my emotions seeing these two together on their special day, they are absolute soul mates. The day progressed perfectly with a short and sweet beach ceremony, laid back cocktail hour at the pool bar, and then eventually headed upstairs to the sky bar for a family style meal together. They had around 30 or so guests attend, so everyone there had a special place in the couples heart. We snuck off from dinner for the most gorgeous bluehour on the beach, I still need to be pinched that I was a part of their big day!

There are many things that go into a great client + vendor relationship. Trust and kindness kicks off that unity on the right foot. Katie and Peter trusted me to capture their love and to offer guidance in posing and structure. They were so kind during both their engagement session and during their destination wedding. It makes everyone involved feel valued, excited, and proud to be in the moment. I promise to always put my best foot forward, no matter if you are getting married in your parents backyard, or venturing out to your Paradisus Los Cabos Wedding.
