Is there anything cuter than frolicking around in the woods with your boo? The answer is no! Katie and Peter had the dreamiest Livingston County engagement session this past summer and I am still in awe of how their love shines through in these photos! The simplicity of holding hands, slow dancing, and a kiss on the forehead, is forever elevated with the surrounding beauty of nature! The love these two share is timeless and oh so sweet. They started their love story through FaceTime after mutual friends connected them, and were so eager to meet in person in 2016. The rest is history. They both cherish the roots they have set as a couple, and lead with kindness and respect.
Prior to their engagement session I asked them to describe their relationship in a few words and they came up with: selfless, silly, gentle, and unconditional. My heart nearly burst, and I was determined to capture this classic love on camera. Having the privacy of land and quite literally the perfect amount of sunshine, they were able to relax into each other and let any other worries go. Bringing a blanket to this session was perfect, the tall grass gave the most romantic and whimsical feel to this portion of the shoot! Katie and Peter are truly so in love, and they were not shy about making me feel valued and appreciated as a photographer. Dream clients all around!
I understand that for many couples, an engagement session may be the first time you two have been in front of the camera together. It’s totally normal to feel a bit nervous and unsure on how things may go. It’s my number one priority to make sure everyone feels comfortable and enjoys themselves during a shoot, even if it takes a little while to warm up! This Livingston County engagement session is a perfect example of two humans in love who warmed right up on camera. Seeing your love story shine is my favorite, excited for their wedding in Cabo coming up! Cheers Katie + Peter!
